This is the 4th adaptation of King’s debut book Carrie, not counting the sequel. We have Brian De Palma’s version from 1976, the 2002 pilot that was meant to be the start of a series that never happened, the remake starring Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie and now Mike Flanagan’s 8-episode series.
