Today I spoke with the nice people over at Maple Street School where An Evening with Stephen King will take place on June 24. They told me that it hasn't been decided what King will read yet and unfortunately there is no plans to record the event. They also told me that since it is a community event and they want to be sure local fans can attend, they are selling tickets on a first-come, first-served basis at the school and at the Northshire Bookstore. If they have any tickets left 48 hours before the performance they will contact anyone who showed interest from afar and allow them to purchase tickets with a credit card.

King will be available for Q&A but will be leaving immediately following the reading.

King's latest column is now online. It's called My Summer Hit List and you can read it here.

Thanks to Bev Vincent and Paul Poroshin.

Many of you have been asking me if I know anything about the limited edition of Transgressions and I have been sending mail after mail to the publisher to find out what's up with it. Then today I finally got a reply. It's not much but the told me that the orders for the book has outnumbered the actual number of copies done and that the decision about which stores that will get the book will be made high up in their sales department shortly.

I hope to get more info soon and when I do I'm putting it right here on the site for you to read.

It has been reported earlier that a second sequel to Creepshow was going to be done. Now it seems that it has already been shoot. This is from a press release.

Taurus recently completed principal photography on a sequel to "CREEP SHOW," based on a short story by Stephen King. The original "CREEP SHOW" was directed by George A. Romero.
