Sam Raimi will produce an upcoming adaptation of King’s Desperation and Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky are on board to direct. Searchlight Pictures is the studio attached to the feature film project.King’s book was released in 1996 together with Richard Bachman’s The Regulators and Mick Garris turned it into a made-for-TV movie starring Ron Perlman, Tom Skerritt and Steven Weber back in 2006.
