Great site. More info than the official site! I have been a fan since when I was 12 I lived in an almost deserted hotel for a year with my family. At the time I had heard about The Shining and got the book. Man was I hooked. Can you imagine the power that book had over me. Deserted corriders, empty kitchens and hotel rooms I ran past a little bit quicker than others, because I got the fear. I have been a fan since. Even more bizarre my middle name is Danny. I live in Bangor, NI and of course check out my first name!! But I've never had a St. Bernard....

Great to read that The Mist is going to happen as a film; I have long thought that story would make amazing cinema. If I remember correctly it has been optioned a few times, and nothing happened with it; if Darabont is connected with it I imagine it will happen; he was the director of "Shawshank," which is rather different in tone than "Mist" would be, so I will be very curious to see how this new film turns out.

Really enjoy the site; thanks for all the great info!

Wonderful site. I've been kept awake many nights with King's novel, but don't regret a single wink of lost sleep! 'On Writing' by Stephen King is also a 'must read' for writers!

Kudos to you for the most informative info about the Nightmares and Dreamscapes mini.. TNT has a newsletter, but gave NO info except the release date. Thanks for your efforts!

Being Kim's fan, I reached the play "Nightmares & Dreamcapes" which really excited me... I always apporach books if I wanna know something about dream-analyzing, seldom read novels or watching plays about them...how to say, coz I think novels/plays are fictional... But when I found that my favor actress Kim Delaney starred in the play, I pay much attention on King's works, and now I am planning to read some for the summer holiday, actually I choose that on writing first and just started... If I think his works suit my taste, I'm sure I will dig more... Thanks for your dedication here online, it's great!

I love reading King's books. My father and I are both avid readers of King's works. I reccomend The Long Walk. It's pretty gory, but very good. The plot is wonderful. Just note that it was written by King under his pen name, Richard Bachman.
Site was useful; had a few gramatical errrors, but none the less, fairly useful!

I have been a King fan since Carrie was first published, and have assembled a large collection of Kings works and King related items.
I especially love Christine, and as John Carpenter is my favorite director, there is a nice link.
A treasured recent addition is Joyrides 1:18 Scale diecast model of the Lady herself, with working headlights to boot!Totally evil.
Keep up the great site,I use it for reference regularly.
Take care,

Lilja, you are the SK elite. Thanks for all your hard work on this incredible website. I noticed you have added some non-SK links, and I think my weirdness site might fit in well: (infact, there is a King section on page 2, with a larger feature in the works)
